Word Gods is a fun and challenging word puzzle game that lets you use your word knowledge to help young Zeus rise from the Underworld to claim his rightful place at the throne of Mount Olympus. Enjoy an exciting adventure with word puzzles, word searching, anagrams, and crosswords!

Genius points represent a player's score in the game. Like any score, players use it to see if they are further along or ranked higher than others. Genius points arent't spent like coins. They are only accumulated. The amount of points you get at each level is based on the number of words and letters in each puzzle.

You can earn wisdom skulls by finding bonus words, finishing a set of puzzles, or sometimes as a Daily Gift. You can also earn wisdom skulls by solving the challenge word in a puzzle. This word will have skulls on top of the blank letter squares. Once you solve this word, you will receive those wisdom skulls and be able to move on to the next level. Wisdom Skulls are used to purchase hints. You can simply touch the hint buttons to use the skulls. For more information on hints, see the Hints section of the FAQ.

The Word Gods Leaderboard shows a ranked list of Genius Points for all players.

Bonus words are words you find that are not part of the grid in the puzzle. You can get Wisdom Skulls and Crystal Shards by finding bonus words. Not all words are accepted as bonus words even though they are real, valid words. Part of the game is discovering what bonus words are part of each puzzle. Also, proper nouns such as places, people, days of the week, and generally any word that is always capitalized will not count as a bonus word. You will only receive rewards for a bonus word the first time you play the puzzle. If you go back and replay a level, you will not receive rewards for the bonus words you play.

The largest puzzles include 9 letters. The puzzles do get larger and more difficult as the game progresses.

You can use your wisdom skulls to purchase hints by tapping the hint icon. Once you tap the hint icon, a hint will be placed on the puzzle board.

You can connect or disconnect from Facebook in the settings of the game. Tap the gear icon to access the menu. There you will find a connect button. Players can also select the Facebook icon in the left top of the screen.
